Perkins County Highway Department is accepting job applications for full-time employees. Must have a valid South Dakota Class A CDL, or able to obtain one in 1 year and be at least 18 years of age. Operates a variety of heavy construction grade equipment and trucks utilized in the construction, maintenance and repair of county roads and bridges. Performs additional various tasks in the maintenance of county roads, bridges, traffic control signs, fences, and related facilities. Regularly works 40-60 hours per week. Starting wage $19.23-$19.75 depending on experience along with Full benefit package. Stationed areas in Perkins County may be available.
