The Board of County Commissioners may choose at any time to provide Community Health Care Services. The Perkins County Commissioners have chosen to contract with the State of South Dakota for these services.
The primary focus of the Perkins County Community Health Nurse is to provide preventative care and County also administers the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program offered through the State of South Dakota.
There are offices in both Lemmon and Bison.

Community Health Nurse has offices in both Bison and Lemmon. They are in the Bison office the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
